Avon is seeking talent for “Avon Voices,” a worldwide online singing talent search in which 10 finalists will vie for a record deal. The “Avon Voices Singing Talent Search” is presented by Avon and produced by Intero. Celebrity judges include Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield, Diane Warren, Ivete Sangalo, Lea Salonga, Valeriya, Delta Goodrem, Maía, and David Pack. Finalists and winners will perform live at the Avon Foundation for Women Gala Nov. 2, 2011 in NYC.
Seeking—Female Singers: 18+.
Global video auditions will be held online through Feb. 13, 2011. For more info and to apply, visit http://audition.avonvoices.com/backstage; register online, then select a song from the provided song list, create a 30-second a cappella audition video, and upload your video. Submission deadline is February 13. Global contenders will be announced March 8. Registration is free; no fees or purchases required. Approx. 200 contenders will fly to international destinations, receive Avon makeovers, and shoot performance videos with music industry professionals in the search for the final two global singing sensations; up to 10 finalists will join together with Avon Voices celebrities to sing and record the “Avon Voices Anthem,” an original song written by Diane Warren; two winners will receive the opportunity to record a professional album to be produced, marketed, and distributed by a major label.
