Attention Models and Talent. It has been brought to my attention that there is a man named “Fresh” saying he works with Carinae Casting , uses a CarinaeStudios email address and is trying to meet up with models. A model was worried about her safety and decided to so her research. This is what she wrote me…
“I have been contacted by a “Fresh” I just wanted to see if he was actually
affiliated with your company only because he doesn’t have the same domain as
your site… plus I didn’t see his name on the website either. I am a model
and I just need to know for my security.”
Thanks,
If you don’t receive and email from the carinaecasting.com website or carinaecasting [at] aol [dot] com it is not us! You can always double check on our website. We post all our castings and we have contact information on the website. Models/Talent make sure you do your research. If someone says that they are an agency, please take the time to try to google them or ask around. You can always go on twitter, facebook, or myspace to ask the public if they have heard of the agency.
Thank you for taking the time…smile, shine and be safe!

Attention Models and Talent!!!!
Carinae is going through a few changes that you should take note of. We are having a few issues on the way the talent submits to castings.
Read Carefully:
If the Castings says submit 2 pictures, then only submit 2
If the casting states that you must be a caucasion male, then you must only submit if your a caucasion male.
You must have the casting title in the subject line, or state what your submitting for Example: Subject line “Interested model,” “XXL Casting Dallas”
Submit to a casting once
Do not send picture links in response to a casting!!!!
Just note that if you send an email asking on the status of your submission, that there will be NO response.
If the casting states that you must be in the (example) Atlanta area, then only submit to what you can handle and make arrangements for!!!
If these rules are not followed then you will automatically be erased from consideration for that casting. If you send a reply question that is already in the casting blast…then yes you will also be erased from consideration.
Talent we try to make the castings as easy as possible. All I am asking is if you PLEASE read the castings full-out, then that will give you a greater chance of being considered.

Where were you born? Cincinnati, OH
Where do you live? Houston, TX
When did you decide that this is what you want to do? – When I was a music major at Texas Southern University I wanted to create visuals to go along with the music we were making.
Are there any celebrities that you’ve worked with? yes, I’ve worked with Micheal Williams (Omar from wire), Mike Epps, Lil Wayne, T.I. , and Lupe Fiasco (to name a few)
Which Celebrities fit your style, and that you would want to work with? – Clint Eastwood, he is a master storyteller, and has been around since the days of Otto Preminger to Sergio Leone to directing films himself.
Do you enjoy shooting by the water? Doesn’t matter to me. I shot in the Dominican Republic once and the water was beautiful.
Do you make your own sets or you enjoy going on location? I enjoy and do both, but I enjoy going on location the most. I like to travel and experience new places. I also relish the challenge of making what’s written come to life and often shooting on location provides the realness needed.
What is some advice that you can give to a future male/female model? NEVER QUIT. If you have a goal or dream, do whatever you have to do to make it happen, fight for it til your last breath.
What is one thing that you hate people to do while on set? TARDINESS!!!
When its time for you to do an interview do you enjoy it or get nervous? I enjoy, I love talking. I mean I have so many dope things going on I can talk forever.
Which do you really enjoy working on…Movies, videos or commercials? MOVIES, hands down.
You don’t have to name names, but what do you hate for the artists to do while on set? I hate when an artist is late to set, I have ZERO tolerance for that.
Which video to date was the one you most enjoyed making and why? Spit Yo Game by The Notorious, because of the opportunity to be apart of the legacy of the great BIG. I also got the chance to work with Swizz Beatz, Twista, Bone,Thug & Harmony, and 8 Ball & MJG all on one project. This video brought together a lot of legends.
What helps you get creative when making video treatment? (music, people, movies) GOOD MUSIC. Good music is always easy to write to.
Do you write your own treatment or your open to work with others? I write my own treatments but if you are a good treatment writer I’m interested in working with you. You can get at me via email at drteeth04 [at] yahoo [dot] com, I’m searching for new talent.
What type of artists would you rather work with? Rappers, rock etc… R&B are my favorite. I don’t think they get the love and respect they deserve, and they are some of the best storytellers.
Is it more important to have a great make up artist or a good stylist? BOTH, because one compliments the other.
Any shout outs? Yes, I want to send a shout out to my dog Kevin Canine as he look at me from the floor of my living room as I do this interview. No really he is my dog. Shout out to Cherrell Rene, she is the dopest, everyone should get you one, but don’t waste your time calling her if you don’t have your paper right!!! The Nasty Natti, and all of my friends in my old neighborhood Evanston, Jami Z for the opportunity to do this interview. And finally to my baby mamas, you know who you are, QUIT CALLING ME, I sent the damn money. Especially baby mama #27 Rose P, you get the nerves the MOST of ALL. Just drop Rose Jr off and keep it MOVIN. Thanks for the opportunity!!!! —
